The full force of the Swiss hip-hop scene comes together for the fourth edition of Züri Battle, the official freestyle rap battle at Dynamo Werk21 in Zurich! After the first three editions were a huge success, Jonny Ive and RapNose return with another round of this high-energy event.
Züri Battle is not only a highlight for the audience, but also an official Battleliga qualifying round for the Ultimate MC Battle, which takes place in Bern at the end of the year.
In a knockout tournament, 16 talented freestyle rappers go head-to-head to determine the best MC of the night. The participants have to prove their creativity and lyrical skills while improvising live over the DJ’s beats.
Züri Battle is more than just an event – it’s a must for hip-hop lovers and a great platform to experience some of Switzerland’s best freestyle talent live. Be there when Zurich’s freestyle elite go head-to-head and set the stage on fire!
Showcase by MzumO: MzumO is a Zurich-based rapper known for technically skilled Swiss German rap, personal storytelling and a clear political stance. His appearances at the SRF Bounce Cypher in 2024, 2025 and 2026 helped establish his name across Switzerland. In his music, he combines socially conscious themes with emotional storytelling, while also reflecting on his experiences in Palestine. In 2026, he released his album Sizzoush.
